In 2019, as part of the Five Deeps Expedition, the Ultra Deep became the first human-made object to descend to the planet's deepest point. After that historic dive, the revolutionary watch was customized for a limited edition collection that is now accessible to the general public. Developed while immersed in the real ocean, the design is water-resistant to a depth of 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) and conforms to the ISO 6425:2018 standard for saturation divers' watches.
This 45.5 mm model is made of durable O-MEGASTEEL and has a diving scale made of LiquidmetalTM set inside a polished black ceramic bezel. The dial, visible through the curved sapphire crystal, features a blue-to-black lacquered gradient and white Super-LumiNova coatings on the 18K white gold hands and hour markers.
This watch features a Grade 5 titanium medallion caseback and an O-MEGASTEEL bracelet with OMEGA's patented extendable foldover rack-and-push with complementary length adjustment and an extra diver extension. The caseback also features a laser-engraved Sonar emblem with the iconic OMEGA Seahorse at its center. The OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912 is what powers the watch.
